Getting started
What this is, and how to get one
What is a Nuvo Sites card?
A business card that lives at a link instead of in your pocket. It carries your name, what you do, your company, a photo, a cover image, a short intro, and a tile for every way to reach you. Send the link, or put its QR code on something printed.
How do I get one?
Sign up, pick a username, and fill in your card. The username is the address your card lives at, so pick one you’ll still be happy with in a few years.
Do I need an app?
No — and neither does the person you hand it to. A card is a web page. It opens in whatever browser is already on their phone.
Will it open on a bad signal?
That’s what it’s built for. A card is a plain page rendered on the server, so it paints on a phone with one bar — which is usually where it gets scanned.
Your link
Your address and your QR code
What will my card’s address be?
Your username. You’ll see the exact address spelled out while you choose it at signup, before you commit to it.
Can I change my username later?
No, and that’s deliberate. A username is claimed once and never handed on to anyone else, so a code you have already printed can’t start pointing at a stranger’s card. Everything on the card can change whenever you like.
Can I have more cards on a bigger plan?
Yes. Every account includes one card; a bigger plan includes more (see pricing). Your main card answers at your username; any others sit one step further along, under a short name you choose — handy for a side business or a one-off event.
How much does it cost?
One card is free. Bigger plans and their prices are on the pricing page.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Your card lives at your own address here — as a subdomain or a path — and that address is permanent. If you need your own domain, ask us.
Links & design
What you can put on the card
How many links can I add?
Up to 9 link tiles — phone, email, website, address and the like — plus every social account, which don’t count toward it. They appear in the order you arrange them, so the one you most want tapped can sit at the top.
What kinds of links?
Phone, text message, email, website, address, and the usual social accounts. Each one gets the right icon on its own, and a phone or email tile dials or opens mail when it’s tapped.
Can I add a phone extension?
Not inside the number itself — a tile has to dial cleanly the moment someone taps it. Put the extension in the tile’s label instead, where people can read it.
Can I choose the look?
You pick a design and an accent colour. The card works out the text colour that stays readable on your accent, so it can’t come out with writing nobody can see.

Getting help from a person
How do I get in touch?
Use the contact page. If your card is already live, send its link with your question — it saves a round trip.
How quickly will you respond?
We aim to reply to every message within a couple of business days. If something is urgent, say so and we’ll get to it first.

Still have a question?
Ask before you sign up — or just make a card and see how it looks. The only choice you can’t undo is the username.
